| Dual-Cure™ 9481 Conformal Coating DYMAX Corporation, the leader in light-curing technology for electronic materials, announces the release of its newest product offering for conformal coatings. Dual-Cure™ 9481 represents the latest advancement in light/moisture cure technology. Historically, light-cured conformal coatings have been most successful in applications with no or minimal shadowing. Shadow areas, which can inhibit the access of light, have the potential to hold or trap the conformal coating and perhaps limit the light exposure of the materials. Typically, it was necessary to add the ability to thermally cure a conformal coating in order to cure in light-blocked areas. DYMAX Dual-Cure 9481 is a step forward. With this product, shadowed areas cure over time with moisture, eliminating the need for secondary heat cure. The low viscosity of the material is optimal for spraying thin coatings of 0.001" ¨C 0.003" thickness and it fluoresces brighter than DYMAX¡¯s other conformal coatings when exposed to UV light.

See-Cure™ color-change technology The two most often asked questions in the adhesives industry are: "How can I tell where an adhesive has been applied?" and "How do I know the adhesive is cured?" DYMAX adhesives formulated with our new See-Cure™ color-change technology start out bright blue in their uncured state, making them very visible when dispensed onto substrates. After the adhesive is exposed to UV light the color changes from blue to clear, 15-25% slower than the adhesive cures. This cure indicator ensures the adhesive is completely cured, providing a critical safety feature for manufacturing processes.
